I've always had an innate strength in coaching people on their careers, building teams and making connections. That's why Sheer Recruiting was launched.  I get to combine my genuine passion for helping and connecting others with a deep, rich expertise in sourcing and hiring, interviewing and getting the job; Specifically in our, ever changing, ad/tech and fin/tech industries  I put the power of my networks from Harvard Business School, Google, DoubleClick, Rubicon Project and more, to:

My story: 

After graduating from The University of Michigan (Go Blue!), Ellen began her career in sales in the digital media and advertising technology industry.  She was an early employee of DoubleClick and an engaged member of the industry as it grew and evolved. She learned client acquisition, revenue building, how to train and build a team, and the importance of building and nurturing a professional network. After a stop in traditional media at The New York Times, her journey led her to Harvard Business School. Here, she was able to up-level her business education, focusing on human capital management and career development.  Seeing her unique background in advertising, technology and people development combined with her learnings in strategy and frameworks, Google came calling. For the next decade, her career pivoted between revenue generation, people management and recruiting. She made a few additional stops in the ad-tech industry and before launching Sheer Recruiting she led revenue recruiting at The Rubicon Project.
